APC Treasury Looting Manifesto responsible for Nigeria Poverty – PDP

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in a recent release has blamed the growing insecurity and poverty level in Nigeria, on extortion and unbridled looting of National treasury by a cabal in the ruling party All Progressive Congress (APC) who are around the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd).

This release was titled “Corruption in Buhari Presidency, APC, Responsible for Poverty in Nigeria – PDP…Says Treasury Looting Is APC’s Manifesto,” signed by the PDP National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan, in Abuja, on Sunday.

The statement recorded that “unbridled treasury looting and extortion by the cabal in the Buhari Presidency and the All Progressives Congress are directly responsible for the excruciating poverty and escalated insecurity being suffered by Nigerians in the last five years.”

According to Kola Ologbondiyan, “The recent revelations of widespread treasury looting, including the alleged allocation of billions of stolen money to certain top government officials, have also exposed the hypocrisy of the APC and how its leaders are mercilessly plundering our economy while abandoning our citizens to a life of squalor.

He further reiterated that the picture of how APC leadership have been looting funds is becoming clearer as they have siphoned and embezzled over N14 trillion from various Government agencies, the fund according to him we’re meant for National development.

Nigerians are no longer in doubt as they have seen from unfolding events that treasury looting is the official manifesto of the APC, said Ologbondiyan.

He further explained that the APC have been exposed as a decietful party that came into power by pretense and have been pointing accusing fingers at other, when their real objective was to siphone and loot the countries treasury to satisfy the personal gains.
