Kogi: Appeal Court Justifies Governor Yahaya Bello as the Legitimate Governor Elect

The Appeal Court sitting at Abuja, has on Saturday justified Governor Yahaya Bello as the Legitimate Governor Elect in Kogi State.
A five man panel of the court of appeal lead by Justice Adamu Jauro, in four separate consensual judgements ruled against the multiple appeals charges against the declaration of Governor Yahaya Bello as the Legitimate winner of the November 16, 2019, Kogi state guubernitorial election.
The Appellate court in it’s ruling believed that the appeals, which seek a reverse of the early rulli gs of the Kogi state election tribunal that confirms Governor Bello of the All Progressive Congress (APC) as the winner of the gubernatorial election, is worthless.
Ruling further, the Appeal court declared that the petitioner have been unable to provide enough proof thatcould warrant the nullification of the Independent National Electoral Commission’s announcement that declared Governor Bello as the election winner.
Therefore the Appeal court, ousted the four appeals that was filled against the All Progressive Congress, INEC and Governor Yahaya Bello, bythe Social Democratic Party (SDP), the Action People’s Party (APP), the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), and Democratic People Party
