Ondo: Uncertainty rock APC as governorship aspirants disagrees over primary election

The Ondo state political Atmosphere is now currently prevaded by uncertainty, as some Governorship aspirants contesting for the Governorship ticket under the All Progressive Congress (APC) are expressing displeasure with the move to conduct the party primary scheduled for tomorrow in an indirect mode.

NewsNaija gathered that aside the incubent Governor of the State, Governor Rotimi Akeredolu, who is seeking a reelection, about eleven other Governorship aspirants of the All Progressive Congress have kicked against choosing the party’s candidate for the Ondo October Governorship Election through an indirect mode.

A reliable news source reported that it is likely for some APC Governorship aspirants to boycott the party’s primary election as all other candidates aside the incubent Governor, veering for the Ondo state Governorship ticket under the party are not happy with the new decision of indirect party primary.

SDP deny claims of endorsing Obaseki’s reelection in Edo State

The Social Democratic Party (SDP), has disassociate itself from the endorsement of Governor Godwin Obaseki for the Edo State Governorship Election.

This is coming after an announcement was made not quite long ago that the SDP has joined force with 34 other political parties to endorse the reelection bid of Governor Godwin Obaseki.

Speaking on behalf of the party, the Edo South Senatorial Chairman of SDP in Edo State, Hon. Osaze Ozigbo, disclosed that Mr. Collins Orerua who stood as a representative of the SDP at the Coalition has been suspended from the party for over two years now, hence the party did not send him.
