Widespread Nigerian singer and actor cum politician, Bankole Wellington often known as Banky W has defined causes for the rise within the variety of circumstances in Lagos State on Sunday.
There have been speculations on social media that the rise was as a result of arrival of Chinese language medical doctors within the state.
Nonetheless, Banky W, responding to the speculations on his Twitter web page, stated it was on account of a rise in testing capability.
In keeping with him, the true variety of circumstances are a lot worse that Nigerians know.
His tweet learn: “The numbers began hovering as a result of we’ve drastically ramped up the variety of checks we’re doing day by day, bro.
“The true numbers had been all the time MUCH worse than what we knew. We had been simply under-testing and under-reporting due to an absence of testing capability.”
