Chief Olododo, one of the hilarious presenters on wapTV, was crowned “Next Rated Comedian of the Year” at the prestigious DAC Awards which took place on 28th September 2019, at FM Events Centre, Ikeja GRA, Lagos State.

The multitalented Chief Olododo, real name Sola Afonja, received the award based on the excellent comedy skills he displays while performing as a TV Presenter, Dancer, and MC; other 2019 DAC Awards recipients include Jaywon, Laide Bakare, Gbenga Adeyinka 1st, Queen Salawa Abeni, Zamorra, etc.

According to the Managing Director of wapTV, Wole Adenuga, “We are really proud of the great job being done daily by Chief Olododo as well as our other exciting presenters. Their creativity, intelligence, and sense of humour are enjoyed by viewers calling in from all over the world during our several live shows.
